I'm having a moment.


I guess sometimes I don't even understand what I do, I'm hoping this doesn't make me average. 


Actually I don't really care, I'll just bake some Donna Hay cupcakes, find out my oven isn't too amazing, drink some gin and watch GIRLS -

GIRLS it's my new addiction.
 I'm finding it harder to not watch than I do trying not to finish off a whole block of Cadbury Black Forest chocolate, or avoiding Messina Gelato.


I don't know if it's the fact that it's so Sex and The City or that it is actually nothing like it at all..
it's Williamsburg, not New York
it's ill-fitted dowdy tshirts, not Oscar de la renta
it's unemployed not Vogue
Maybe it's because Hannah (the main protagonist) is so goddamn interesting, 
witty and exactly like everything we are as 'Girls' 
but everything we wish we weren't
...complete with asshole boyfriend.
 so really it's EXACTLY like Sex and The City... 
without the shoes.

moving on.

5 suitcases, a mirror, 1 bed, a bike and 15 boxes later I moved house.
Finally and never again may I add.
My last little abode served it's purpose for what it was, but there comes a time when ... well it doesn't anymore.
Your home life is so important, and even though we are all so busy, it's our sanctuary, a place we can escape the crazy world outside - and it needs to be awesome right?

I may have only moved down the street, but it feels like a world away.

Our official first weekend in our new terrace was filled with many celebratory champagnes, wines by the fire, thai takeaway, Sex and The City marathons and Sonoma brunches.

Life is good.
