thou shall not sin
Sorry, don't mind me as I just dust the cobwebs off my Macbook, it's been too long between posts, I deserve to be burnt at the stake. It's been a crazy few weeks, I've been darting to and frou from Sydney, which I will explain later.
So much to say, so little time!
Maybe I'll start from the top (before I'm late for work)
I have new hair! No not a wig, but a lovely little bob to call my own! All thanks to the scissorhands of James Knight at GANG. (he may not actually possess hands made of scissors)
I have a plethora of posts to post, so stay tuned!

banksy v the simpsons
Few things are still considered sacred in this world, being involved in an episode of The Simpsons (about 5 years ago) ranks pretty highly.
I just wanted to share this with some of you that may have accidentally by-passed this historic moment (I'm really un-necessarily talking this up)
Banksy aka holy grail of street art has teamed with Matt Groening to produce and direct the OPENING of The Simpsons, (that's even more major than Michael Jacksons short cameo!)
The episode called 'MoneyBart' aired in the US on the weekend, and fingers crossed it comes down under soon.
It's dark and awesome, a little more drawn out, but goddamn the man is a genius..
please watch. and enjoy

checks & stripes
Eventful weekends here in Adelaide, the weather is amazing and it makes life feel like no matter what your doing it's brilliant!
So the things I have learnt in the past few days..
.
-the theme sound to 'The Big Bang Theory' with Jam
-never leave valuables, your favourite pair of shoes, or your boyfriends birthday present in your car.
We played at the Ed Castle on Saturday night with the zombies, fun and stuff with my 3 favourites. (Ferris, DWVill & Kiki)
-Ferris met his doppelganger.
-Dwvill found a former fan from a former life.
-Kiki matched his underwear to his watch.
I absolutely love the sequin tee by Indiana by Frieda that I wore, its perfect, striped and devoid of colour! There was a little bit of a pattern emerging, all around I was surrounded by checks and stripes.
Anyway, the night ended rather eventfully.
My little car was thoroughly cleaned out by some thief (worst experience ever)
(I'm still taking this rather hard)
Props to Ferris and Kiki for checking out the police officer and being amazing
and to Dave Callan (Triple J) for playing S Club 7 at 4am. (doh)

sportsgirl styling workshop
Wednesday night I was lucky enough to attend one of Sportsgirls 'SuperStyleMe' Workshops!
The Adelaide workshop was run by the gorgeous Grazia stylist Anouk Colantoni who styled up 12 looks as an introduction to the festival party summer coming.
Anouk was amazing and really down to earth (and just quietly) I want her job.
From the night I gathered that feathers, layer upon layer, wedges and jumpsuits (long and short) are going to be summer winners.

I met some awesome Adelaide bloggers as well, we were spoilt with goody bags (yay) and a lucky lady walked away with a $250 voucher for her fashion knowledge!
It was a genius idea by Sportsgirl, especially since Adelaide girls don't have access to a 'Style me Studio' like Melbourne does (and soon to be Sydney) . If you ever are in the Eastern states book yourself an appointment, they are free and so much fun!

attitude magazine. september launch
Quite like S Club 7, there ain't no party like an Attitude party.
Where everyone comes together who has had a part in the making of the current mag to have a drink (on Attitude) and play.

The September launch was one of the biggest parties the magazine has had, the coolest, chic-est and finely select amazing few were invited to The Tivoli last Friday. (slight post delay, I am aware)
Highlight- was of course the retro photo booth, because how can you not love flattering black and white wallet sized memories of you and your drunken pals?
special thanks to Ferris for keeping my liquids up and for some door security company.

Westfield & Pride Models S/S show
One of Adelaide's most successful agencies 'Pride Models' hosted the Westfield Marion Spring/Summer collection on Thursday night.
It was a fantastic parade to showcase what Westfield has in store for summer.
Key trends were mix bag of
florals, pastels, black and white, khaki and of course nautical.
The styling was largely impressive collaborating brands such as Kookai, Witchery, French Connection, Dotti, Cue and Country Road mixed back with accessories from a variety of stores like Wittner and Diva to really re-create an individual look.
The music by Emma Sainsbury (ex-Adelaide girl, resident Ivy Sydney DJ) helped set the cool Parisian summer vibe.
With the sun shining as bright as it was today, I can't help be excited for what summer has in store.
